I didn’t know that midlife would feel like I was disappearing.

I didn’t know that even though I was doing “everything right” — eating clean, exercising, staying busy — my body would still feel foreign. That my energy would vanish without warning. That sleep would become a nightly battle. That my clothes wouldn’t fit. That I’d question myself in the mirror and in my mind.

What I really didn’t know…
Was that this wasn’t just aging.
It was biology. It was muscle loss. Hormone shifts. Nutrient deficiencies. Nervous system burnout.
And it was never explained to me by the people who should’ve known.

I Thought I Was Doing Something Wrong

I blamed myself.
I pushed harder in workouts. Ate less. Cut carbs. Tried fasting. Slept worse.
The harder I tried, the worse I felt.

But eventually, I learned something that changed everything:

This isn’t your fault — it’s your biology.

Why I Started the Rebellion

I created Women’s Health Rebellion because I was tired of watching women like me fall through the cracks — confused, exhausted, dismissed.

I wanted to build a place where:

  • Women over 40 could learn the real science of their bodies

  • Protein wasn’t demonized, and carbs weren’t the enemy

  • Muscle was the goal, not just weight loss

  • Sleep, energy, strength, and confidence were the new measurements of success
